MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – September 21, 2009 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Wayne Carr
Richard Dziedzic presented the board with a copy of a surveyor’s map of his property. Mr. Dziedzic has offered the town a property trade for no monetary value. A part of his leach field is located on the town’s property. The trade would include Mr. Dziedzic’s driveway for a piece of the town’s property where the leach field is located. This trade would make the “right of way” to the town’s property wider and Mr. Dziedzic would have his leach field on his own property. A Special Town Meeting will be scheduled.
Board of Selectmen authorized Wayne to place an ad in the upcoming Tattler to hire temporary help to help with the debris removal from the December Ice Storm. Qualified applicants will be placed on a list for when they are needed. Applicants must be able to run a chainsaw and operate a chipper.
Wayne was asked to look into the possibility of selling the large screening plant to help with the cost of replacing the town’s one ton truck.
